Our club has both local and national levels of membership as options for students.
1. Local Membership Cost: Free
With our local membership, students have access to all events and activities held throughout the year. To become a member, students must fill out the google form listed below (sign-in w/ school email) and attend at least 2 meetings a month. All students (no matter their level of familiarity with bioinformatics or biomedical engineering) are welcome to become members! We will hold a member social each month to welcome all new members.
Students who become national members will become official student members of the Biomedical Engineering Society, which is a national organization which brings together students, professors, professionals, and companies who all share a passion for biomedical engineering. As national members, students will be able to connect with BMES members from across the country and have access to scientific journals, events, awards, and e-learning materials which are only available through a membership with BMES. To become national members, students must apply on the official BMES website. Please contact our Club President (Summer Joyce Batasin) if you have questions about national memberships and how to sign up.
